ISO 22000:2005 (FSMS-Food Safety Management System)

 

The food safety management system standard ISO 22000:2005 enables any company directly or indirectly involved in the food chain to identify the relevant food safety risks and manage them efficiently.

 

This is an international standard which specifies requirements for food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption. The ISO 22000 standard is compatible and harmonised with other international management system standards, including ISO 9001. It is ideal for integration with existing management systems and processes.
