FSSC 22000

FSSC 22000 is specifically targeted at food and food packaging manufacturers. This certification scheme helps secure food safety standards within the production process of the supply chain.

As FSSC 22000 has been approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), it allows companies that achieve FSSC 22000 certification to meet the requirements of several global retailers or major branded food companies under a single, internationally recognized food safety management system.

The FSSC 22000 certification scheme combines the management system approach, HACCP methodology and detailed guidelines regarding pre-requisite programmes. The FSSC 22000 certification scheme pulls together ISO 22000:2005 and ISO/TS 22002-1 as the set of certification criteria.

Unlike ISO 22000:2005, which is applicable to all organizations along the food chain; FSSC 22000 is specifically designed for food and packaging manufacturers. Manufacturers that are already certified against ISO 22000 will only need an additional review and implementation of technical specifications for sector PRPs to meet this certification scheme.

The scheme is intended for the audit and certification of the food safety management system of food manufacturers that process or manufacture:

    • perishable animal products, excluding slaughtering and pre-slaughtering (i.e. meat, poultry, eggs, dairy and fish products).
    • perishable vegetable products (i.e. fresh fruits and fresh juices, preserved fruits, fresh vegetables, preserved vegetables).
    • products with long shelf life at ambient temperature (i.e. canned products, biscuits, snacks, oil, drinking water, beverages, pasta, flour, sugar, salt).
    • (bio)chemical products for food manufacturing (i.e. vitamins additives and bio-cultures) but excluding technical and technological aids.
    • Food packaging material manufacturing.

Please inform us your requirement & we will design a customize system to meet your expectations....!!!
